Guidelines for Development of Pro-poor Policies in the Social Sector (UNDP Bi-lingual Publication)

These publication presents disaggregated indicators for healthcare, education and basic public services, elaborated based on the National Human Development Survey 2003. The publication also describes the methodology of using the presented indicators for more targeted pro-poor policies in the mentioned spheres.

Explanation on the Law on the Human Rights Defender (UNDP Publication in Armenian)

This publication is an easy-to-use guide to the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Human Rights Defender (Ombudsperson). It was prepared due to the successful cooperation between UNDP and the National Assembly (Parliament) of Armenia. The publication is a compilation of questions and answers.

Drug Situation in Southern Caucasus (UNDP Publication)

This unique report covers all the three countries in the South Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. The analysis conducted in three countries indicated that the number of drug users and drug addicts increased in the region. The problem of drug addiction and drug trafficking acquire increasing importance for socio-economic and political stability of the South Caucasus. This publication is a first attempt for producing regional report on Drug Situation in Southern Caucasus. The introduction of effective and internationally used methods for collecting and analyzing drug related information, as well as further enhancement of regional cooperation and coordination is of crucial importance.
