United Nations General Assembly 65th Session Opens on 14 September 2010 31/08/2010 The General Assembly of the United Nations opens its sixty-fifth session on 14 September at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Following the opening week, Heads of State and Government will gather for a three-day Highlevel Plenary Meeting on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG Summit), from 20 to 22 September.
