Welcome!

Dafina GerchevaDear Visitor,

Welcome to the official website of the United Nations family in Armenia! As you are aware, the United Nations was created in 1945 to maintain international peace and security; to develop friendly relations among nations; to cooperate in solving international problems and to promote respect for human rights. The same values guide our work today.
The UN family in Armenia is comprised of a number of agencies, funds, and programmes. They are all represented on this website, and we hope that this virtual house will become a hospitable home for those searching better solutions for development problems, and ready to work for the well-being of humanity.
The UN family works in Armenia since 1992, supporting Armenia's efforts to build a prosperous society, to adapt to the challenges of our time and to reach the Millennium Development Goals.

In these endeavours you can count on us - the United Nations!
